Street Photography Workshops
“Knowledge is good, the right knowledge is better”
Brian is everything you want in a workshop teacher: patient, knowledgeable and generous with his experience.
Within 10 minutes I realized how little I actually knew about street photography, but Brian made it very accessible and achievable.
I had a great morning learning something new on each location.
I didn’t really look for a photography workshop when I stumbled upon von Bjeldbak’s website, but months after I suddenly found myself in Venice with Brian, sweeping the narrow streets of Venice with my camera. What a great experience! Brian is extremely good to “break down” a location, finding out what to shoot and where to stand to get the optimal shot. I can only recommend a workshop with Brian.
My wife bought me a workshop as a birthday present, and I must say, as a seasoned amateur I was VERY apprehensive. I always had an interest in street photography, but no specific knowledge on how to achieve the great shots. My confidence grew to phenomenal amounts after these few short hours, and now I’m hooked on street photography. Thank you for opening my eyes…and thanks to my wife!
I was in Hamburg for my company and decided to join this workshop with Brian. His style fitted exactly with my way of thinking photography: search for the light, then search for the subject. Great value for money, I’d say.
Searching out the light and introducing me to composition techniques and how to use them on the street was an awesome experience.
I really enjoyed the workshop. You were able to clear up most of my photography questions and give me a great deal of other matters to think about in image capture and techniques.
It has taken me a while to digest what I learned at the workshop. I have to say, you made me change my way of taking pictures, in a positive sense, of course.
Enthusiastic, super relaxed and a great teacher. Take a one-to-one workshop. You’ll never regret it!
The one-to-one workshop really opened my eyes to see images everywhere. Great!
I can really recommend attending a workshop with Brian. Just by walking around in the city, he detects scenes I’d never have found myself. What an eye-opener!
